📅 November 2025 – SNAP Benefits Fully Restored After Federal Shutdown

Following the end of the recent federal government shutdown, SNAP benefits have been fully reinstated nationwide, including in Illinois. EBT deposit systems are operating normally again, and recipients should begin seeing their regular benefit amounts on schedule.
